Lakewood Presbyterian Church (LPC) seeks an Office Manager to assist our Pastor by leading a team of staff and volunteers in office administration.
This position is part-time, 24 hours weekly, Monday through Thursday 9am to 3pm. Minimum qualifications include high school diploma plus 5-10 years of experience managing an office and a small admin staff. Church work experience is desired but not required. Must be proficient in the use of office equipment, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel. Basic print design skills, familiarity with social media platforms, and website management experience. Must possess strong organizational and language skills, as well as the ability to interact well with others. As our church includes a Preschool, candidates must pass background screening at our expense.
Position Summary
· Oversees and manages church office operations.
· Performs some tasks as needed for the Lakewood Presbyterian Preschool and coordinates with the Preschool Director to facilitate smooth operations in shared space.
· Facilitates communication that promotes the ministry of LPC within and beyond the congregation.
· Creates a positive office atmosphere that is consistent with the church’s mission to represent Christ and bring good news to our community.
